The reputation of the Toyota Corolla has been respected for years for providing an economic and reliable car. This year’s remodeled 2006 Toyota Corolla fulfills the name and prestige of the brand. It is available in four trim levels: LE, CE, S and XRS. The XRS is a more performance related model with sport-tuned features.
This is a front wheel drive and a four door sedan. The Toyota Corolla is capable of accommodating five passengers with ease. Height adjustable driver’s seat, power mirrors and four speaker audio systems are standard throughout the models.
The base model has 15 inches alloy wheels and a 60/40 split foldable rear seat. All the three trims have a 1.8 liter 4-cyl engine with 126 hp, whereas, the XRS model boasts of 170 hp. The 2006 Toyota Corolla XRS model has better suspension control, 16-inch alloy wheels and anti-lock disc brakes. It also has cruise control, tire pressure monitoring and six-speed manual transmission.
